CEA simposium
The 1st Joint Symposium of the Control Engineering, Modelling, Simulation and Optimisation and Automatics Education Groups of the Spanish Automatics Committee was held at the University of Seville on 22-24 January.
In this symposium, the Gaussian process regression modelling of the combined cooling system was presented, as well as the validation with experimental data of the pilot plant located at the Plataforma Solar de Almería, a task that will allow us to continue working on the optimisation of the operation within the Solhycool project.
During the symposium we had the opportunity to visit the Heineken factory, which has 30 MW of solar thermal energy using parabolic trough technology and pressurised water as the heat transfer fluid.
