Aránzazu Fernández presented the Solhycool poster

The experimental results of a combined wet cooling tower and air condenser system were presented in a poster at the SolarPACES 2024 international congress. This congress, held in Rome from 8 to 11 October, is one of the most important in the field of concentrating solar power.

SolarPACES (Solar Power and Chemical Energy Systems) is an international collaborative network that brings together teams of national experts from around the world to focus on the development and commercialisation of concentrating solar power systems (also known as solar thermal energy systems). It is part of a series of collaborative programmes managed under the umbrella of the International Energy Agency to help find solutions to global energy challenges. The 30th edition of the SolarPACES conference was a great success, with the spectacular participation of 525 people from 40 countries.

Among the topics that were addressed at this conference we want to highlight:

  • Power cycles
  • Solar industrial process heat and thermal desalination.
  • IA in concentrating solar technology.
