On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, Patricia Palenzuela and Lidia Roca gave an informative presentation on the importance of water in concentrating solar thermal power plants.

Patricia and Lidia explained what they studied, how they got into research and what they are currently working on. It was a very entertaining talk where the students were able to learn first hand about some of the activities carried out at the Plataforma Solar de Almería (CIEMAT).

This lecture was part of the activities organised by IES Murgi on the occasion of the Day of Women and Girls in Science, in which other CIEMAT colleagues participated. Specifically, the following talks were given at the Plataforma Solar de Almería:
